my god.....that really is the ugliest dog....I think I'm gonna have nightmares.....he looks like a little zombified gremlin thats out for blood.....

I totally understand how one can fall for such a face. I would have loved to be able to be Sam's mommy. I Love this calendar and am getting three of them.

Thank-you for sharing Sam with us, his fans did love him so dearly.

Holy Mary Mother of God - make it stop!
I think Sam was dead well before this picture shoot.
Sam was a purebred but his owner is a MUTT!!!

Mutt, it's obvious that Sam had most of his teeth missing and Cataracts in both eyes why didn't you spare the expense to Sam's medical care? You're living large now i'm sure!!!!

SAM was a weird guy, but he had personality. He was a cool kat, i mean dog. I know he had dog groupies, moreover SAM may have several puppies he help create. I wish I could have had a chance to kick it with SAM before he went to Kane9 heaven. You know! He was a SOB, but he wasn't an ugly SOB; SAM was a BEAUTIFUL SOB.

He was great and beautifull.. I think people who said that he was ugly, are stupid and silly.. They can't see what is beautifull for real.. In my opinion Sam was cool.. =) Now, he's got better live, nobody laugh and nobody talk that he is ugly..

Sam may have won the world's ugliest dog contest several years in a row, but obviously his true beauty was seen by his owner who loved him enough to share him with the world. Thank you for sharing Sam with all of us. May he rest in peace. (The ugly little guy makes my smile and cry all at the same time.)

I want to let you know that I think sam was one lucky animal to have such a caring owner, and if sam was mine he would of been loved just as much as any other animal, I think he was great, and he will be missed by all.
